Hello and welcome to my private practice landing page, I am so happy that you are here! My name is Laura Urbina. I am an ASHA certified Speech Language Pathologist living and working here in Key Largo with my husband and three children.

I have a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Florida International University in Psychology and a Master of Science Degree from Florida State University. I am also proud to be a certified Natural Language Acquisition Practitioner. This certification has proven to be essential to the language therapy for Gestalt Language Processors who learn language differently than Analytic Language Processors.

I have worked with speech and language patients from ages 2-19 within school based and clinic settings. I am passionate about providing child led, neurodiversity affirming, relationship based care that is both evidence based and individualized to the patient.

I am conversationally bilingual in English and Spanish. I also have bilingual standardized assessments available for speech/language evaluations. Therapy will be conducted primarily in English with bilingual support provided as needed.

• Insurance (Out of Network Only): At this time I am not in network with any insurance providers. However, Super Bills can be provided by request for families to seek out of network reimbursement. Families are strongly encouraged to communicate with their insurance companies directly prior to their first appointment to inquire about their particular insurance carrier's policy on OON services.
